Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD/post-combat neurosis/combat veteran neurosis) is a reoccurring of the horrible emotion that was originally experienced amidst deadly military combat. Felt as flashbacks and recall, battle, night-time, insomnia dreams (nightmares of the battles). Throughout the ages warriors, men-at-arms and soldiers have all suffered from war-related post-traumatic stress disorder. Ancient Greek and Roman texts record warrior PTSD. In the Middle Ages the PTSD of knights was described. During the 20th century, in this present age, that soldiers experience PTSD has also been documented.[2,3] Not all soldiers who have experienced trauma during battle will suffer from PTSD.[3,4] Rather, soldiers who are in a gruelled condition from overwork, exhaustion, tiredness, under-nourishment, hunger, or loneliness during battle are at more risk of acquiring PTSD.[4,2] Further risk factors include a soldier's genetics, age, personality traits, and previous combat experience or training. PTSD/combat veteran neurosis - like the suffering of an earthquake survivor - is not because of "Mental illness", but is rather, in fact, caused by experiencing trauma during war whist being in a gruelled condition.
The symptoms of PTSD can be eased by eating specific medicinal plants. Dawndaylight is sixteen edible plants that are medicinal for PTSD. These sixteen plants are: spelt seeds (Triticum aestivum ssp./var./sub species/sub sp. spelta), sugarcane (Saccharum officinarum), carrot (Daucus carota var. sativa), sesame seeds (Pedaliaceae Sesamum indicum), cucumber vegetable (Cucumis sativus), date palm fruit (Phoenix dactylifera), peach fruit (Prunus persica), pear fruit (Pyrus communis), passion fruit (Passiflora incarnata), avocado fruit (Lauraceae Persea americana), sweet almonds (Prunus dulcis), nasturtium (Tropaeolaceae Tropaeolum majus), green capsicum vegetable (Capsicum annuum var. annuum), cauliflower (Brassica oleracea var. botrytis), lettuce (Lactuca sativa), and wild lettuce (Compositae Lactuca virosa). Eaten - a blend of spelt seeds and banana - can reduce the emotion resonance intensity of trauma flashbacks. At night-time either: pear fruit, passion fruit, avocado fruit, cucumber, nasturtium, green capsicum vegetable, cauliflower, almonds or wild lettuce can be added and eaten to reduce the emotion intensity of battle dream insomnia and make for deeper restfulness.

Spelt (Triticum aestivum ssp./var./sub species/sub sp. spelta) is a primitive and ancient variety of wheat grain crop.[5,6] There are numerous groups of spelt (with in the subspecies spelta).[7,8,9] Spelt genes evolve as the genes of every spelt seed are changed slightly by their environment and so differ with each new generation of crop. Swiss scientists have analysed genes from three hundred year old spelt. They then compared the three hundred year old genes to the genes of contemporary wheat and spelt crops. By these comparisons they can speculate on the origins and genetic evolutionary development of spelt. Spelt is the same botanical order, family and species as wheat (Triticum aestivum)[5,7] and in many ways is similar to wheat (Triticum aestivum). Spelt (Triticum aestivum sub species spelta) crop looks very much like wheat crop. On average single, spelt, grain kernels weigh less and are smaller than those of wheat, but the whole spelt plant is heavier than a wheat plant. To comparatively analyse wheat phytochemicals to those of spelt, biochemists can use texture analysis, on near infrared spectrometry, chemical reference methods, and multivariate data analysis e.g. chemometrics, etc. The phytochemical composition of spelt (Triticum aestivum sub species spelta) does differ to that of wheat (Triticum aestivum) and this is because of genetic evolution and selective agricultural cultivation. Levels of the microelements Cu, Mn, Zn and Co are higher in spelt than in wheat. Spelt also contains about 1/3 (approximately 33%) more gluten than wheat. The hulled (hull-pared/without a hull) seeds (grain) of the spelt plant (Triticum aestivum sub species spelta) can be pulverised (e.g. stoneground, etc.) and then eaten for medicine in the medicinal treatment of PTSD. While wheat (Triticum aestivum) seedlings do contain some phytochemicals that are medicinal for PTSD such as folacin[17,18], wheat (Triticum aestivum) seeds are comparatively not (particularly) medicinal for treating PTSD. Hulled spelt (Triticum aestivum sub species spelta) seeds are medicinal for PTSD, either because they contain these medicinal phytochemicals (i.e. folacin, glutamic-acid, glutamates) in effectively higher amounts or as I expect they contain different and unique medicinal phytochemicals that wheat (Triticum aestivum) is without. The phytochemicals of spelt can be analysed and described[14,19,20,21] for structural and molecular medicinal compounds.[22,17] Italian biochemists know all the phytochemicals that constitute spelt (Triticum aestivum sub species spelta) by having applied chemical analytical techniques such as pyrolysis/gas chromatography/mass spectrometry (PY/GC/MS).[16,23,24,25] Maybe spelt seeds contain high amounts of glutamic acid, glutamate oxaloacetic transaminase, glutamate oxalacetate transaminase or glutamate pyruvate transaminase. Wheat seeds contain glutamate dehydrogenase and minerals.[17,18] Perhaps these are medicinal for PTSD and higher medicinal amounts of these occur in spelt seeds. I don't yet know which exact spelt (seed) phytochemical molecules make spelt medicinal for treating PTSD (when combined with sucrose). Neither do I know the pharmacodynamics of sucrose and spelt seeds. That spelt is a - food - said to calm mood was described as yester ago as the European Middle Ages. Soothly, spelt - cuisined - with a calmative, e.g. lettuce (lactucin), banana (sucrose), and carrot (lithium) is a meal medicinal for PTSD.
OF THE PHYTOCHEMICALS IN THE DAWNDAYLIGHT PLANTS THAT ARE MEDICINAL FOR
The main edible parts of the plants: sugar beet, spelt, carrots, sesame seeds, cucumber, date palm fruit, pears, peaches, passion fruit, avocado fruit, almonds, nasturtiums, green capsicum vegetable, cauliflower and lettuce each contain over one or two hundred different phytochemicals.[17,18] Many of which, together, can help to reduce the emotion resonance intensity of trauma flashbacks.[17,22,26,27,28] A few examples include: lithium, which occurs in carrots (Daucus carota), and peach fruits. Magnesium, which is found in carrots, almonds, sesame seeds, avocado fruits and spelt (very possibly). Tryptophan, which occurs in carrots, spelt (possibly), and sesame seeds. Folacin, which is in carrots, almonds, sesame seeds, and spelt (very possibly). Glutamic-acid, which is in almonds, sesame seeds, and spelt (very possibly). Sucrose (disaccharide sugar) which is found in sugarcane, sugar beet, dates (Phoenix dactylifera) pineapples (Ananas comosus) peach fruits, bananas, and to a lesser amount sesame seeds. These and other phytomolecules[17,18] combined with the following phytochemicals found in Dawndaylight foods - that bring about sleepiness - can ease the emotion resonance intensity of insomnia battle dreams. Caffeic-acid, a sedative, that occurs in both pears, and lettuce. Hyoscyamine and the sedative[17,29] lactucarium molecules (i.e. lactucaxanthin, lactucin, lactucopicrin[17)[17,29] occur in all of the numerous lettuce (Lactuca) varieties.[17,18,30] These sedatives might be more concentrated in wild lettuces (e.g. Lactuca serriola, Lactuca saligna, etc.) as older, uncultivated, bitter tasting, lettuce sub-species ancestors can be eaten in much less amounts than modern lettuce (Compositae Lactuca sativa) for a similar sleepiness.[27,28] Niacin, found in peach fruit, passion fruit and avocado fruit is necessary for sleep. Palmitoleic acid, an anti-insomnious phytochemical, is in peach fruit. Pantothenic-acid, also anti-insomnious, is in avocado fruit. Zinc, an essential element in the human body, occurs in avocado fruit, and possibly peach fruit.[27,17] The tranquilliser harman[17,28] is found in passion fruit. There are many dozens of other medical phytochemicals in the Dawndaylight foods[17,22] which can ease the symptoms of PTSD.
PLANT GLUTAMATE-OXALOACETIC-TRANSAMINASE AS A HYPOTHETICAL PTSD MEDICINAL
Glutamate oxaloacetic transaminase is an enzymatic structure (very large compared to the size of many soybean phytonutrients) that occurs in the soybean plant (Leguminosae Glycine max). It might be in sprouting soybeans, but not the unsprouted bean.[17,18] Studies suggest that Glutamic-acid is a medicinal for some neuroses.[17,18] I hypothesise that, a similar glutamic, glutamate oxaloacetic transaminase is a PTSD medicinal. At increasing cooking temperatures the activity of glutamic oxaloacetic transaminase (an enzyme) declines. So cooked or heated soybeans are ineffective. Simply eating unprocessed, fresh, raw sprouting soybeans is ideal. Raw soybean sprouts, and raw soybeans eaten each cause temporary fatigue; unless they are consumed with additional foods.
GARLIC GLUTAMATE-DEHYDROGENASE AS A HYPOTHETICAL PTSD MEDICINAL
Botanically kurrat garlic is a leek. Kurrat garlic (also called elephant garlic) (Liliaceae Allium ampeloprasum) when uncooked contains glutamate-dehydrogenase.[17,18] Studies suggest that glutamic-acid is medicinal for some neuroses.[17,18] I hypothesise that glutamate-dehydrogenase, which is similar to glutamic-acid, might be a PTSD medicinal. Garlic is high in sulphuric acid and should be eaten or blended with other foods to reduce acid concentration thus protecting teeth. Unless cuisined with additional foods raw kurrat garlic eaten can cause temporary fatigue. Waking at least once during the night (within approximately 4 hours of going to sleep) and returning to sleep might also prevent kurrat garlic from causing temporary fatigue.
MEDICINAL ANTI-HYPERTENSIVE FOODS
Date palm (Phoenix dactylifera) fruit[17,18], and cucumber (Cucumis sativus) vegetable[17,18,27] (eaten raw) can each reduce blood pressure by relaxing arterial constriction.[17,18] An increase in circulatory arterial blood flow[17,18,27] can ease some PTSD symptoms. Cucumber (Cucumis sativus) vegetable, and date palm (Phoenix dactylifera) fruit[17,18] are each medicinal for PTSD.
DAWNDAYLIGHT MEDICINAL FOODS FOR TREATING INSOMNIA
Historically peach, and passion fruit (Passiflora incarnata) leaves have been eaten to treat insomnia.[27,28] Almost all the phytochemicals that occur in citrus leaves are also present in citrus fruits. The leaves, flowers and fruits of the passionfruit vine contain an alkaloid tranquilliser[17,28] called harmen.[17,28] There's a high possibility that the sedative phytochemicals that occur in peach leaves[17,18,27] are also present in peach fruits.[17,18,22] Like lettuce[27,28], perhaps old, heirloom, peach fruit varieties are higher in sedatives than contemporary peach fruits. Peaches eaten without additional foods causes temporary fatigue. (Certain foods eaten with peach fruit can enable peaches to be medicinal for PTSD). Peach fruits contain trace amounts of lithium which may reduce nightmares.[17,31] Avocado fruit eaten can reduce nightmares as it contains zinc, niacin, tryptophan[17,26], pantothenic-acid and quite high amounts of magnesium. An almond (sometimes defined as an almond nut) is the soft center of the almond tree (prunus dulcis) seed. Almonds, cauliflower, green capsicum vegetable, and nasturtiums (like avocado fruit) are not soporiferous. Still, nasturtium vine nodes - eaten with - nasturtium vine internodes, nasturtium flowers, nasturtium stems, nasturtium leaves, almonds, green capsicum vegetable and cauliflower before sleeping (e.g. as a supper) can ease several PTSD symptoms. That lettuce brings about sleepiness is very well documented and[28,34] has been written about as long ago as the European Middle Ages. Pears are sedatingly[17,34] soporiferous as they contain very high amounts of caffeic-acid. Insomnia is difficulty sleeping which includes falling asleep, staying asleep, and quality of sleep. Passion fruits or lettuce, when eaten, can help people to fall asleep and remain asleep. They are medicinal for insomnia.[27,28,34]
Warning: Do not self medicate with the leaves, flowers or bark of fruit trees, and fruit vines. In this web site I'm not recommending the use of leaves, bark or flowers from fruit trees or fruit vines.
SUCROSE (SUGAR) FROM HOME GARDEN GROWN SUGARCANE SUGAR BEET AND FRUITS
Sugarcane, and sugar beet contain the disaccharide sugar sucrose. There is a high concentration of sugar (sucrose) in the roots of the sugar beet plant (Beta vulgaris).[17,34] Raw brown table sugar is over processed sugar beet or sugarcane that has been heated up (cooked). This reduces the phytonutrient content. Fresh sugarcane juice that is extracted straight from the cane plant is preferable. Growing your own sugar beet or sugarcane for sucrose to blend down with spelt is costless, ideal and much preferable. Home grown and garden gathered fresh sugar beet roots or cane juice retain their phytochemical nutrients.[17,18,37] So they are less tooth decaying and healthier for long-term consumption (e.g. eaten every day over a thirty plus year period) than cooked raw table sugar. Sugar beet (Beta vulgaris) can be grown in temperate climates[31,34], where as sugarcane (Saccharum officinarum) can be grown in tropically hot climates. Some fresh fruits also contain sucrose.[17,18] For example: date palm fruit (Phoenix dactylifera)[17,18] pineapples (Ananas comosus)[17,18] and plantain bananas (Musa paradisiaca).[17,18] Each of these three fruits is over ten-per-cent sucrose[17,18], so they can be eaten for Dawndaylight sucrose instead of table sugar.

Please be aware that peach fruit (Prunus persica), and apples (Malus domestica) can cause drowsiness if they are eaten in too high amounts.
Spelt grain that is gathered direct from the crop is preferable to spelt grain that has been in barn (silo) storage for months. Spelt seeds (grain) can be prepared for eating. The tough outer hull of spelt grain is hard and must first be removed (pared) before using. Whole, raw hulled (without a hull) spelt seeds contain phytochemicals (perhaps stored in the embryo cells) which are basically contraindicative for PTSD. So, whole, raw hulled (without a hull) spelt seeds/grain should be soaked in water for approximately 24 hours to solubilise the contraindicative phytochemicals. (Perhaps by the hydrolytic enzymes from the aleurone layer of the grain). After (approximately 24 hours) the water solubilised contraindicative phytochemicals can be washed out of the spelt by stirring the soaking grain and discarding the water. Then crush and pulverise (grind) the washed, hulled (without a hull) spelt seeds until they are ground down to a branlike flour. Ground spelt seeds (branlike/flourlike) turn rancid (stale) quickly thus losing nutrients. So only grind down as many spelt seeds as soon to be eaten. It is preferable to eat ground (branlike/flourlike) spelt uncooked and unheated. Grains have only been farmed for the past 10,000 years and so until then they were probably not eaten by humans in great quantity. Only small amounts of spelt need be eaten and only consume as much spelt as is medicinal.
AVOCADO FRUIT PREPARATION
Avocado fruit (Lauraceae Persea americana) like bananas (Musaceae Musa spp.) are too hard, inedible, and not at all tasty until they ripen. Ethylene gas ripens avocado fruit faster. Apples, and pears release more ethylene gas than do many vegetables. Avocado fruit ripeness can be managed by putting avocado fruit for ripening to eat in a bag with apples and pears. At lower temperatures avocado fruit ripens slower. For storage avocado fruits should be kept in a cool place. So, by ethylene gas or cooler storing large harvest stacks of avocado fruits can be made ripe daily for eating instead of all ripening at the one time. Varieties of avocado fruit have different colour skins so their skin colour is not a reliable indicator of ripeness. If an avocado fruit feels soft then it is ripe, however if it feels too soft then it is over ripe and has probably spoilt. Avocado fruit is also high in vitamin B6.
APPROXIMATE DAWNDAYLIGHT DOSAGE
For spelt to be a PTSD medicinal it should be eaten with (disaccharides) sugar (sucrose). As an approximation on dosage, perhaps: two thirds a cup of hulled (without a hull) unheated, ground (branlike/flourlike) spelt seeds and at least five teaspoons of sucrose sugar would need to be eaten. Instead of eating (over-processed) table sugar it is healthier to eat fresh fruits that contain sucrose. For example: five plantain banana (Musa paradisiaca) fruits contain approximately five teaspoons of sucrose sugar. At night-time - for resting - either: passion fruit, avocado fruit, or ~25 grams of pear fruit can be included. Dawndaylight will likely take effect after one and a half hours. The effect will probably last for about one hour (except for pear fruit, nasturtium, green capsicum vegetable and cauliflower). To sustain the effect perhaps Dawndaylight might have to be eaten every hour (except for pear fruit, nasturtium, green capsicum vegetable and cauliflower). Approximately six nasturtium flowers - eaten with - nasturtium vine nodes, nasturtium vine internodes, nasturtium stems, nasturtium leaves, a quarter of a cauliflower, a green capsicum vegetable and almonds before sleeping (e.g. as a supper) can ease several PTSD symptoms for at least twelve hours. Pear fruit has a soporiferous influence, very potent in duration, which affects for many hours. So no more than about 25 grams of pear fruit should be eaten nightly. Which is .88185 of an avoirdupois ounce, 0.80377 of a troy ounce or practically a mouthful. I don't exactly yet know the precise dosage amount (to eat) of each fruit. Dosage and effect would vary by a person’s body weight, gender, age, etc. All this is simply an approximation, people who eat Dawndaylight should adapt and vary the ingredients and amounts to their liking (with in medicinal effect). A couple of passion fruit might need to be eaten to gain any effect. The eater can observe the effects and vary the dosage as Dawndaylight does not impair cognition or cause any side effects such as dizziness, headache, apathy or amotivation. Dawndaylight is without hypnotic effect. It is safe in overdose (except for wild lettuce Lactuca virosa). All of its ingredients can be picked and eaten fresh from plants, so it is specifically for long term use (e.g. eaten everyday over a thirty plus year period). The reduction of PTSD symptoms by Dawndaylight is slight yet actual. Control over the time length of effect is the primary advantage of fruits compared to flowers and other herbs. Its soporiferous influence (except for pear fruit) only lasts for about an hour, so a person can be work (on call) ready with in 2.5 hours of taking a dosage. These approximations are just a guide, please adapt and vary the food amounts, ingredients and in between snack durations. For example, customised dawndaylight may be: a breakfast of hulled (without a hull) ground (branlike/flourlike) spelt seeds with banana, and a carrot lunch. Then a dinner of cucumber with avocado before a supper of almonds, nasturtium, green capsicum vegetable and cauliflower.
TOXIC ENVIRONMENTAL AND AGRICULTURAL POLLUTANTS IN ANIMALS
Phospholipids are fats that form part of human nerves (including brain cells) and muscles. Often phospholipids are two fatty acids and a phosphoric acid bonded to choline. Organochlorine (OC) pesticides are sprayed in agriculture and kill by oxidising phospholipids[39,40], perhaps by the peroxidation of choline (replacing choline with an oxygen molecule). Regrettably, phospholipid damaging OC pesticide residues build up in animal fat including cow's milk.[37,39,40,41] Pesticides are toxic to the human central nervous system (a system built in part with phospholipids).[39,41] People who have PTSD should try to avoid phospholipid damaging synthetic pesticide chemicals that occur as residues in food by buying bio-dynamic (organic) verified produce or home garden growing their own meals. Unhappy, non-roaming, uncared for cows produce milk and meat that is much too high in adrenaline (epinephrine). People who have PTSD should try to avoid animal adrenaline (epinephrine) polluted cows milk and meats. Some unscrupulous hyper-intensive industrial farm managers feed their herds on synthetic steroids (growth hormones). The consuming of steroids and adrenaline (epinephrine) via polluted meats and milk can (unfairly) cause people to feel very annoyed for no reason. People who have PTSD should try to avoid such cows milk and meats in which synthetic steroids occur. Bio-dynamic, and organically certified fresh foods are less likely to contain these residues of artificial pesticides, synthetical weedicides, artificial fertilizers and animal growth steroids. Even so environmental pesticide pollution from air currents, rivers and dusts can still build up in content bio-dynamic (organic) cows that graze in clean pastures. There are numerous good dietary calcium alternatives to (OC pesticide prone) animal milk. For example, one egg shell (crushed grindingly into powder) from a small hen's egg contains 2.4171 g (0.080571428oz) of digestible calcium, which is more calcium than occurs in 2 liters of cow milk. Although eggs can contain OC pesticide residues. Egg shells are 94% calcium carbonate, 1% magnesium carbonate, 1% calcium phosphate and only contain 4% organic matter (protein).[34,42] They are without the fat (pesticide prone) content of cow milk. Unorganic (non bio-dynamic) hyperintensive (factory) farms actually feed chickens with antibiotics. The eggs from these factory farms may contain pathogenic micro-organisms (super-bugs). It's preferable to buy bio-dynamic eggs or raise your own fresh grass-eating hens, which would lay good eggs for calcium rich egg shells. Plants can also be eaten for high quantities of digestible calcium. Home garden grown lettuces are very high in calcium. (However, most organically verified commercial lettuces, although pristine, are not). Lettuce is preferable to egg shells and possibly less prone to environmental pollutants.
Synthetical light (from electric light globes, fluorescent lighting, battery powered torches, etc.) is (spectrally) different to the solar light of the sun. Humans evolved in an environment that was without artificial lighting. A part of human eye physiology - mistakenly - interprets the non-evolutionary spectral pattern of such synthetical lighting as natural light viewed through injured eyes. Thus, eye physiology seeing (viewing) by (non-evolutionary) artificial light patterns increases the amount of ACTH (adrenocorticotrophic hormone) and cortisol in the bloodstream. ACTH and cortisol are injury adaptation hormones. The brighter the artificial light viewed the greater the (physiologically, mistakenly unnecessary) increase in ACTH and cortisol is. How, viewing by artificial light worsens the symptoms of PTSD. People who have PTSD should try to minimise their exposure to synthetical light or where possible avoid artificial light. Exposure to synthetical light can be minimised by very much dimming the brightness of VDU devices, electric lighting (lower wattages) etc. and (if under bright artificial light) by wearing dark sunglasses. Fortunately, viewing (seeing) with gentle sunlight, fire light, moonlight and starlight does not bring about any such physiological ACTH/cortisol increase (that artificial light does). Perhaps during the night prehistoric man glimpsed glowing, lightening strike forest fires burning on distant mountain ridges (or maybe the sun is a great fire more simply). There are, as well, hundreds of creatures that emit light. For example: glow-worms (e.g. Lampyris noctiluca, Arachnocampa species e.g. luminosa, etc.). Humans co-evolved with many of these bioluminous creatures, so it seems unlikely that their light would bring about any such blood ACTH/cortisol increase. Prehistoric man did rest at night near bioluminous fungi. Although there are no recorded bioluminous plants, maybe some grow deep in a forest yet to be cultivated.
NUT AND OLIVE OIL LAMPS
The dry kernels of macadamia nuts (Macadamia integrifolia/tetraphylla/etc.) are approximately 80% oil and so burn like candles when lit. An economical lamp can be made from a 1/4 (60 ml) measuring cup (placed upon a small block/tray of wood). The (silver/iron/etc.) cup can then be filled up with heavy (thick) olive (Olea europaea var. europaea) oil and macadamia nuts. This cup-lamp can be started by setting fire to the macadamia nuts. (After the macadamia nuts have lit the olive oil by burning for a while, the very top layer of macadamia nuts can be trimmed from the lamp to either brighten or dim it). Very fine (small) grains of salt can be poured into the cup-lamp to burn the macadamia nuts brightly for a longer duration. Burnt up vegetable oils and the smoke of burning vegetable oils are toxic, bio-accumulative, and possibly non-biodegradable. Ventilation is necessary to avoid any inhalation of vegetable oil (macadamia nut, olive, etc.) fumes. (The cup-lamp can be emptied of all its olive oil and then filled with new olive oil, approximately hourly, to reduce smoke). (Burning macadamia nut oil smoulders less sootily than burning olive oil). Warning: burning vegetable oils are boiling hot. Adult supervision is necessary if children use macadamia nut and olive oil lamps; using only macadamia nuts is safer. Only fine salt grains can be used; however, if the cup-lamp burns low on vegetable oil hazardous salt spluttering might still occur. Bioluminescence is preferable to vegetable oil lamps.
AS A THERAPY FOR PTSD TRANCE INSOMNIA
Starlight is not just more relaxing beautify scenery (no different, for example, to the white polar ice oceans of Antarctica). Rather, the human eye actually evolved whilst seeing/looking up at the night starscape. Starscape and starlight affect human physiology. The starscape (i.e. constellations) (e.g. galaxies, nebulae, etc. of stars) that people see in the nightsky is the same starscape that primitive pre-apeman mammals (early hominids) viewed in the nightsky hundreds of millions of years ago. Some stars are of light (spectral patterns) that are the same as the moon and the sun, while many stars are of light (spectral patterns) that are different to that of sunlight and the light of the moon. So the (star)light of starscape is different to sunlight or moonlight. PTSD trance insomnia (that is to stare in a trance like state of mind) can be slightly eased by staring up into the star filled nightsky at the stars. Viewing starlight is slightly therapeutic for PTSD trance insomnia, (and may enable deeper, restful sleep). Lying down can also ease PTSD trance insomnia (a trance like state of mind). The balance equilibrium/coordination position (in the ear) of lying down in bed induces a more relaxed physiological state.
AIR CURRENTS LIGHTENING AIR CURRENTS AND PTSD
Lightening storms, and heavy rainfall deluges completely restore the natural electricity of air and fill the air with more natural electricity. Natural electricity occurs in the air in greater amounts near the ocean, fresh water lakes, rivers, and streams. There the higher humidity (i.e. up to 7 per-cent water content of the air) conducts, contains, and transfers more natural electricity than drier air. Air freshly electronated by lakes, rivers, waterfalls, oceans, heavy deluge rain storms, and lightening storms is medicinal for PTSD insomnia, and can help people with PTSD to feel more relaxed. Breathing the damp fresh air of a lightening rain storm before going to sleep and whilst asleep is very much therapeutic for PTSD.
People who have PTSD should avoid listening to the speakers of earphones (speakers) that press in direct contact against the ear. As these can increase the amounts of ACTH and cortisol in the bloodstream. To avoid increasing ACTH and cortisol levels from earphone speakers: amplified sound should travel through the air before it arrives at the ear.
AIR POLLUTION AND LOW OXYGEN ENVIRONMENTS
People with PTSD should avoid breathing air that has been polluted by artificial electricity. Electrical appliances can be a source of electric air pollution. Electric current (live electricity) can travel through air, water, and wires/cables. Loud speakers, electric motors, fluorescent lights, and transformers can each emit live electric current that travels through the air (very similar to electric current flowing through water). This live electric (invisible) smoke is of the air; so (like the smoke of a smouldering fire) it can travel/pollute the air over a large unventilated area. These currents (being live electricity) disappear from the air (practically) the instant the 'smouldering' appliance is switched off (regardless of how far a distance through the air the live current has actually extended). However, these currents alter the air through which they travel by taking away the naturally occurring electricity from some air particles and leaving other air particles too residually electric in artificial static. So air through which this live electricity has travelled is stale (even after the current has been switched off). Live artificial electric air current is breathed in through the nose and flows into (and through) the nerves of the olfactory system; how increasing the rate of neurontransmission.[46,49,50] Stale air affects mood.[46,49] People with PTSD should avoid breathing both live artificial electric current air, and stale air. Placing a bowl or transparent box over loud speakers and computer hard drives can contain live current air. Fluorescent light bulbs emit live electric air pollution current (regardless of their size and wattage); however, incandescent light bulbs (i.e. classic electric light bulbs) do not. Avoiding breathing electric current air may be as practical, simple and costless as replacing fluorescent lighting with low wattage (dim) incandescent lights, putting a fish bowl over a laptop computer, putting a small transistor radio into an air tight bag, placing a stereoplayer in an air tight pot, and opening doors or windows for competing fresh air breeze ventilation. Washing machines can be switched on before leaving the house. Similarly, battery powered computers can be rescheduled to (transformer) recharge late at night in empty, well ventilated rooms. Refrigerators can be scheduled to shut down/switch off for a short duration (i.e. an hour) each day, for example, at dinner time when the kitchen is usually occupied by diners. Some appliances emit only weak electric currents into the air, and not all airconditioners, central heating systems, electric fans, refrigerators, washing machines, headphones/earphones, loudspeaker systems, etc. emit air current pollution. Some loud speakers, and electric motors are sealed from the air by design during manufacture. These air tight electric motors and loud speakers have no contact/exposure with/to the air and thus emit no electric air pollution. For example, some well designed mix masters, and food processors have their powerful electric motors housed in air tight units (during manufacture) so as to emit no electric air current pollution. People with PTSD should also avoid breathing smog exhaust fumes (e.g. petrol fumes, liquefied petroleum gas fumes, diesel fuel fumes, etc.) and low oxygen environments.
People with PTSD should avoid (standing within) magnetic fields. Numerous household appliances generate slight magnetic fields, for example, personal computers, refrigerators, and loud speakers, etc. Magnetic fields can be easily detected/measured with (orienteering) compasses (i.e. a North, South, East, West compass). The strength and location of such fields can be measured by simply holding a compass over/next to magnetic field emitting household appliances and reading the North, South, East, West compass variations. Magnetic fields from household appliances only travel a very slight distance; most-while only a few short centimetres/inches from their source. So, fortunately almost all such magnetic fields can be easily avoided by simply either, moving these appliances slightly further away, or by standing slightly further back from these appliances.
TIME THE TWELVE HOUR CIRCADIAN CYCLE AND PTSD
The human body clock has a 12 hour cycle. This short rhythm/oscillation (hormonal) cycle repeats/begins again every 12 hours, and is synchronised to the time of day by light.[51,52] The actual sequence and durations of the 8 phases within this 12 hour cycle are basically unchanging, unaffected by environmental light, biological, preset (in Homo sapien RNA), and inherent to the species. However, meals and thus diet (e.g. civic culture) can override/alter the influence of these 8 phases. The three states of mind of the 12 hour, 8 phase cycle are: A state, B state and C state.
Phase 1) From 7:30 until 8:45 the human body is in a B state.
Phase 2) From 8:45 until 10:10 the human body is in A state.
Phase 3 )From 10:10 until 11:15 the human body is in B state.
Phase 4) From 11:15 until 12:30 the human body is in C state.
Phase 5) From 12:30 until 1:15 the human body is the B state.
Phase 6) From 1:15 until 3:10 the human body is in A state.
Phase 7) From 3:10 until 4:15 the human body is in B state.
Phase 8) From 4:15 until 7:30 the human body is in C state.
(These times are given/written in standard time, that is the time ordinary clocks keep/display). (The cycle repeats/begins again every 12 hours and so is the same during A.M. and P.M.). Whilst in A state people usually have more stamina, and are at their most relaxed, content, enduranceful, strong, venturous, fearless, dauntlessness, resilient, thriving, agreeable, easygoing, and volunteering. (For example, A state of mind is the most resilient in which to gather food from the wild, if stranded in an igloo by a blizzard storm). Seldom do people experience PTSD (symptoms) whilst in A state. From 1:15 until 3:10 (either P.M. or A.M.) psychological stress is eased. This time of day (i.e. 1:15 until 3:10) is (biologically) preset. This is why for Homo sapien (man) the dead of night is between 2:30am and 3:00am (i.e. the quietest/most tranquil). In a city full of people the safest time of day with the most helpfulness and cooperativeness is during A states; particularly at 2:30pm or 9:45am. Paradoxically A state of mind is also the most relaxing to be a sleep during. People with PTSD should be fast asleep between 1:15am until 3:10am or 1:15pm until 3:10pm. For it is - only - during this 1 hour and 45 minute duration that the human mind (whilst asleep) can reprocesses long chain memories/integrate emotional trauma/'get over' emotional upsets. (PTSD stressfulness is of long chain neurons). It is critical/crucial then that people with PTSD sleep during/through 1:15 until 3:10 at least once every 24 hours. For example, if a person is awake with PTSD insomnia at 2am in the night they need then to take a siesta from 1:15pm until 3:10pm the next afternoon to ensure that they have slept during/through 1:15 until 3:10 at least once every 24 hours. Neurosis, and feelings of paranoia can result if people with PTSD are oft-while awake both night and day (i.e. awake from 1:15am until 3:10am - and - 1:15pm until 3:10pm). For it is only during A state of mind that the mind can rest during sleep. B state of mind is less relaxed than A state. PTSD flashbacks and intrusive thoughts occur during B state. C state of mind is the most stressful and least content state. PTSD flashbacks and intrusive thoughts usually occur during C state. If a person has PTSD it was almost always acquired whilst in C state. Conflict, and accidents are most likely to occur during C states; particularly when people move from a B state into a C state at either 11:15 or 4:15. (At both 11:15 and 4:15 the rate of neuronreception quickly/abruptly slows down as the mind is in transition from B state into C state). (If the human body is continuously awake for more that approximately 11 hours then all/any further C states are experienced as B states until sleep). Sleeping through 1:15am until 3:10am at night and then taking a siesta from 1:15pm until 3:10pm during the day might be therapeutic for chronic delayed stress syndrome/long term post traumatic stress disorder. For A state is the most restful state of mind.
MOVEMENT DESENSITISATION AND REPROCESSING (EMDR)
Over the 1990's EMDR grew as a physiotherapy to treat PTSD. However, its therapeutic value is questionable. Is there a therapeutic neuropathology that can be accessed by emulating the rapid eye movements of REM sleep when awake ? Can emulating the rapid eye movement sleep phase when awake reprocess (interconnect) or reduce in length (for reprocessing) 'long chain' PTSD neuropatterns ? Doubtlessly there are physiotherapies that are therapeutic for PTSD. However, it is doubtful that EMDR (as such) can be one way to treat PTSD. The leisure of swimming in warm oceans, rivers, lakes, etc. is (physio)therapeutic for PTSD (and more so than EMDR).
INTERACTIVE GAMES AND PTSD
There are many leisure/fun activities that people find relaxing. Some relaxing, leisure activities are passive and other relaxing, leisure activities are interactive.
Only interactive leisure activities are therapeutic for PTSD. Passive leisure activities whist relaxing for the duration during which they are undertaken can not integrate long chain PTSD neurons. Some examples of passive leisure activities are: watching nature, listening to music, watching television/DVD/video/cinema, reading books, etc. Some examples of interactive leisure activities/games are: video games, tennis, squash ball, and cards, etc. Watching a game of tennis is not therapeutic for PTSD; however, playing a game of tennis is therapeutic for PTSD. Watching a game of squash ball on television is not therapeutic for PTSD. However, playing a game of squash ball is. Just watching fishes swimming around a pond is not therapeutic for PTSD. However, feeding fish in a pond is. Watching fish swimming in the ocean is not therapeutic for PTSD; however, swimming amongst a school of oceanic fishes is. Watching the clouds pass by (as clouds travel through the sky at a placid pace) can resynchronise dreaming, psychology and emotions which is very relaxing, but is not particularly therapeutic for PTSD. The time of day during which to play recreational interactive games might be crucial to such gaming actually easing the symptoms of PTSD. For example, playing a video game just before falling asleep might be therapeutic for PTSD; however, playing a video game many hours before going to sleep (e.g. in the morning) might not be as therapeutical for PTSD. Perhaps the time to play recreational interactive games so that they are therapeutic for PTSD is just before going to sleep. Once/after long chain neurons have been integrated by recreational interactive gaming they are then (automatically) reprocessed (reduced in length) during A state sleep (e.g. whilst fast sleep through 1:15am until 3:10am). There is another way to integrate long chain PTSD neurons and this is by breathing the fresh air of a lightening thunder rain storm after which long chain neurons are also reprocessed (reduced in length) during A state sleep. Playing interactive games for fun can integrate long chain PTSD neurons and is thus therapeutic for PTSD. Recreational interactive gaming may seem time wasting and childlike; however, it is necessary for well being. (As, after snappish/snarling predators had roamed by, primitive apes resumed gibbering contently whilst playfully foraging for food with other primitive apes).
LEISURE ACTIVITIES LANGUAGE MUSIC AND TROPICAL WATER AS A PTSD THERAPY
Interactive leisure activities are therapeutic for PTSD. Interactive leisure activities are more therapeutic (for PTSD) when played whilst :- (a) speaking/exercising the faculty of spoken language (e.g. chatting, talking, reciting, etc.): and/or (b) listening to music: and/or (c) sitting in a pool/bath/tub of warm water. So, some examples of thus may be:
-Soaking/sitting in a bath of warm water whist playing a video game, talking/speaking and listening to music.
-Playing water volley ball in a heated pool whilst listening to music on a ghetto blaster.
-Chatting with swimmers whilst swimming in a tropical river in the surrounds of a forest.
AND COLD WINTER CLIMATES
Winter cold weather (the elements) can have a very detrimental effect upon PTSD (more so than excessive fatiguing exercise/toil, and malnutrition/hunger). People with PTSD should avoid getting cold/feeling cold, and falling into cold phase (i.e. catching a cold). The common cold/cold phase is a phase of the immune system and can be treated by consuming immunioresetting plants, e.g. maple sap (Acer rubrum/saccharum/nigrum), (as can also rheumatoid arthritis, and anaphylactic shock). People with PTSD who live in a cold temperature climate should consider travelling a great distance during Autumn/Fall to live with friends who live in a warm/mild temperature climate. By holidaying during Winter in a shire that is without frost or snow hazardously cold Winter weather can be avoided. A pillow that is of the same material/fibre as the blankets, many blankets, a beanie/nightcap, remaining in doors/in a shelter, keeping dry, and continuously eating nutritious food that is high in energy (e.g. almonds, garlic, etc.) may avert hypothermia during very cold weather. Although sleeping on and under many blankets may prevent hypothermia by keeping body temperature very warm, the ambient air temperature in a room/shelter should also be kept warm (e.g. by lighting/stoking a blazing fire in a fireplace/hearth). As the symptoms of PTSD are made worse by sleeping in an environment that has a cold, chilly ambient air temperature. Draft (fast travelling breeze) with cold air temperature is called the 'wind chill factor'. Draft air that is 5 degrees Celsius (41 degrees Fahrenheit) in temperature will breeze at temperatures of less than 0 degrees Celsius (32 degrees Fahrenheit) upon the face/skin because the draft is travelling at a speed of 7 metres (7.65 yards) per second. In a room/shelter through which a cold draft is breezing, the wind chill factor can be reduced, for example, by moving the bed so the draft is blowing/travelling first at the foot of the bedcovers/bed spread. A spare blanket can then be rolled into a bundle and placed upon the bedspread over the chest (below the neck) of the person in the bed. So the cold draft breezes at and over the bundle and thus far above the sleeping persons face.
BLINDNESS VERY BRIGHT SUNLIGHT AND PTSD
Looking at/into very bright sunlight can have a toilworn, irksome and wearisome affect upon emotional endurance; how, worsening the symptoms of PTSD.
Very bright sunshine can reflect back from the surface of snow, the ocean, lakes, etc. to shine up into the eyes of people who are walking through snowfall, or strolling along the beach. Keeping under the shade (away from direct sunlight) during the middle of the day (e.g. from 11am until 3pm) and wearing eye protection (e.g. sunglasses, sungoggles, a sunvisa, etc.) can prevent snow blindness, and reduce the brightness of sunshine glare. A week of continuous bed rest may be required to recover from the immediate effects of snow blindness. People with chronic delayed stress/long term PTSD should to take precautions so as never to suffer from/have snow blindness.
ROOM TEMPERATURE AND FOOD COOL
Room temperature can be cooled during hot, dry weather by hanging very wet clothes/towels/sheets from a line across the room. In very hot dry weather this can very much cool the air temperature at night. Food can also be kept cool during hot, dry weather by hanging a wet cloth next to food (e.g. hanging a damp cloth bag over food).
TRAUMATIC STRESS DISORDER AND SOURCES OF HEATING
There are different thermoharmonic patterns/sources of heating: solar (sun), thermal/volcanic spring, bio-warmth, flame, electrically radiated, microwave, etc. (Heated molecules move in a different pattern depending upon which energy source they were heated by). In practicality only electrically radiated heat has a slightly negative affect upon PTSD. The human body reacts to the freezing cold as though it were injured/bleeding (e.g. the immuno-cold phase/the common cold). So electrically radiated warmth is preferable to a cold room. Bio-warmth can be conserved by wearing two jumpers instead of one. Bio-warmth can be lost to the ground. So bio-warmth can be conserved by sleeping on blankets as well as beneath blankets. Solar (sun) warmth is preferable to bio-warmth. Bio-warmth, and thermal spring/volcanic warmth are each preferable to flame heat. Flame heat is preferable to electrically radiated heat. Electrically radiated heat is preferable to microwave heat. (Microwave heat is outside of human evolutionary thermoharmonic parameters; and thus not recommend as a source of warmth).
ALMONDS AS A FUEL FOR HEATING
Almonds are approximately fifty-per-cent fat. Dried almonds can be burnt as fuel for heating a shelter/room. The water content of almonds can be reduced by soaking almonds in water for a few days and then removing the almonds from the water to dry out at room temperature for approximately a week. Burning dried almonds produces less smoke than burning wood or nuts.
QUICK REFERENCE SUMMARY
Plants eatable to reduce the emotion resonance intensity of trauma flashbacks: hulled (without a hull) ground (branlike/flourlike) spelt seeds, carrot, lettuce, sesame seeds, date palm fruit, and disaccharides (sugarcane/pineapple/banana).
Plants eatable to reduce the emotion intensity of battle dream insomnia and make for deeper restfulness (when eaten with the above): passion fruit, wild lettuce, nasturtium, green capsicum, cauliflower, almonds, cucumber, avocado fruit, and pear fruit.

There are well over two hundred thousand fruit earing plant species on earth, so many of which could be medicinal for PTSD. Dawndaylight can, of course, be very much improved upon or made redundant by other newer medicinal treatments that take up all number of the two hundred thousand or so fruit earing plant species.[17,18,22,54,55,56]
Date palm fruit, cucumber, and cauliflower eaten can each reduce blood pressure.
Green capsicum vegetable (Capsicum annuum var. annuum) is also called green sweet chile pepper. Green capsicum vegetable is the fruit of the green capsicum plant (Solanaceae Capsicum annuum var. annuum).
Attention: the juice of green capsicum vegetable, like garlic or onion (Allium cepa) should be kept away from the eyes.
Eating sucrose (sugar) is unlikely to increase blood sugar levels as blood sugars are glucose-1-phosphate and glucose-6-phosphate. These are slightly different sugars to the sucrose in sugar beet roots and sugarcane. Discontinuing daily intake of hulled (without a hull) ground spelt seeds and sucrose may cause reoccurrence of PTSD symptoms. Discontinuing daily intake of disaccharides sugar (sucrose) (Saccharum officinarum) may cause depression or anxiety. If you reduce your daily intake of disaccharides sugar (sucrose) do so slowly and gradually. Attention: raw and white sugars are over processed. WARNING: these raw/white cooked sugars eaten in excessively high dietary amounts may cause ill-heath, addiction and dependency. Fresh uncooked sugarcane juice or sugar beet roots are preferable to cooked white or raw (brown) sugar. Non-organic (non bio-dynamic) or non-home garden grown processed white/raw sugar (pesticide containing) can cause bone weakness. Pesticide residues might disrupt calcium deposit regulating hormones in the body. Attention: processed (cooked) raw brown sugar, and heated date palm fruit can cause tooth decay. However, fresh bio-dynamic sugarcane juice or bio-dynamic sugar beet roots are preferable to processed raw sugar. Only home garden grown or verified organic/bio-dynamic sugar (or sucrose plants) are recommended for Dawndaylight use. Fresh plants are preferable. Aspartame is an artificial sweetener.[34,60] Avoid aspartame as it may be toxic. I don't recommend consuming artificial sweeteners. The maple tree is only found in North America. The saps of at least three maple tree species are 4%-6% sucrose[31,34] which is a disaccharide sugar. These three species are: the red maple tree Acer rubrum, the sugar maple tree Acer saccharum and the black maple Acer nigrum. Native North American Indians collected the saps of these three trees[31,34] by cutting into the bark. They then condensed the collected saps, sometimes by freezing them to remove their iced water content. The native Indians used the sap (maple syrup) for food, and as medicine. Bee honey is 5% sucrose sugar. Maple sap is preferable to honey. Honey, and maple sap are preferable to maple syrup, and dried fruits (e.g. dates, prune varieties, etc.). Dried fruits are preferable to heated maple syrup. Honey, maple sap, maple syrup, and dried fruits (e.g. dates, prune varieties, etc.) are preferable to raw white/brown sugar. However, honey, and maple syrup can only be eaten in small quantities and contain all number of other (non-PTSD) medicinal phytonutrients. Attention: eating more than approximately five teaspoons a day of honey can cause people to feel very tired and annoyed, as can eating too much maple syrup. Higher quantities of sucrose than this are required for Dawndaylight use. So, while honey and maple syrup are preferable to raw brown sugar, they can only be a small amount of the total daily sucrose eaten in Dawndaylight. For example, during a flood season of sugarcane crop failure, total daily (Dawndaylight) sucrose could be from small amounts of honey, and maple syrup, but mostly from dried fruits (e.g. dates, bananas, etc.) or perhaps plum jam. Uncooked sugarcane juice, sugar beet roots, pineapples, bananas, date fruits, and sweetsops - all fresh - are preferable to raw brown sugar, honey, dried fruits, and maple syrup. Do not feed honey to a baby who is under one year old (as babies under one year are too little to digest honey). Boiled maple sap can cause tooth decay. Bee honey eaten is very medicinal for combat stress (e.g. emergency medicine). However, raw bee honey eaten can cause atherosclerosis. So raw bee honey cannot be eaten as a long term PTSD medicinal treatment. (Bee honey is also an antibiotic that can be applied to infected graze wounds after they are washed clean with oceanwater and cabbage juice). (Oceanwater, and cabbage juice are each antibiotics as are oat seeds/grain, and the element silver/Ag). For Dawndaylight eating single sugar monosaccharides e.g. glucose, fructose, galactose, and mannose cannot be used instead of the disaccharides sugar sucrose. Pineapple can basically only be eaten every 3 days, as pineapple eaten daily causes temporary fatigue. More than approximately 1 teaspoon of cinnamon (a sucrose herb) eaten daily can cause side effects. (If eaten with spelt) the same species of sucrose plant can only be eaten every 3 days. For example: pineapple eaten one day, apple eaten the next day and then cinnamon (Cinnamomum verum) eaten the day after apple. The same species of sucrose plant eaten with spelt everyday is contraindicative for PTSD. Technically the human eye is of the brain. Fire light, and bioluminescence cannot replace sunlight as sunlight varies throughout the day e.g. by cloud formation (overcasting) the brightness of sunup to dusk, etc. Humans need sunlight for growth and development. Many egg farmers - including some organic farmers - 'wash' chicken eggs in chlorine (sodium hypochlorite) before sale. Chlorine is toxic. Bio-dynamic eggs are not washed in toxic chemicals, thus their shells remain edible. The human body needs approximately 800-1200 milligrams of calcium (Ca) per day. However, this uptake is possibly throughout a 24 hour period. One example might be the eating of (at least) 400 milligrams (Ca) during breakfast, (at least) 400 milligrams (Ca) during lunch and (at least) 400 milligrams (Ca) during dinner. Condensed protein foods, and egg whites do cause some body calcium loss. If egg whites (albumen), and yolks are eaten then more dietary calcium should be consumed. Raw egg whites (albumen) and raw egg yolks (of the avian family Phasianidae) eaten can each cause atherosclerosis. Cold sores (herpes simplex virus) are made worse by the phytochemical arginine. High amounts of arginine occur in nuts[17,63], sunflower seeds, and soybean seeds. People with cold sores (herpes simplex virus) should leave nuts, sunflower seeds, and soybean seeds out of their diet. Unless they're taking numerous specific phytotherapeutic anti-virals, such as European elderberry (Adoxaceae Sambucus nigra) fruit[17,18] or citrus (Rutaceae Citrus) fruit seeds, peels[17,18], rinds[17,18] and juice[17,18], etc. Wheat grain (Triticum aestivum) or sprouting wheat seedlings cannot replace spelt in Dawndaylight. Grains have only been farmed for the past 10,000 years[34,65] and so until then they were probably not eaten by humans in great quantity. If excessive grain is eaten then reduced health may occur in some people, e.g. an allergic reaction to gluten, etc. Spelt contains more gluten than wheat. If you have celiac disease (difficulty metabolising gluten) then consult a healthcarer before eating spelt. Dawndaylight might be toxic to people who have ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis). I don't recommend people with ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis) use Dawndaylight. Banksia (genus Banksia) flower nectar (i.e. a banksia flower soaked in cold water for approximately 16 hours to make a nectar drink) is slightly medicinal for PTSD. (However, banksia nectar is not as medicinal for PTSD as spelt or almonds).
The soporiferous influence of pear fruit (Pyrus communis) affects for many hours, so only small amounts of pear fruit (~25 grams) should be eaten nightly.
Warning: pear fruit (Pyrus communis) shouldn't be eaten by people who are fatigued, exhausted, morning, grieving, upset or in any way feeling depressed.
Warning: lettuce (Compositae Lactuca) shouldn't be eaten in soporiferous amounts by people who are morning, grieving or in any way feeling depressed.
Lettuce eaten in too high amounts (overdose) can (temporarily) cause feelings of sadness, despair, indifference and neglectfulness. Attention: lettuce eaten reduces sex drive (sexual urge or desire).[27,34]
Less cultivated, bitter tasting lettuces, like wild lettuce (Lactuca virosa) contain higher concentrations of sedatives than common varieties[27,28] as perhaps do heirloom peach (Prunus sub species) fruits.[27,28,36] How, much less amounts of heirloom, and wild varieties can be eaten for a similar sleepiness. These less cultivated varieties are preferred by people who have been eating PTSD medicinals for decades - for whom overdosing is improbable - and who have a busy work schedule. As they can nibble on a light heirloom variety snack instead of suppering on a larger meal (for similar medicinal effect).
Warning: wild lettuce (Lactuca virosa) should only be used under healthcarer supervision in very precise and understood amounts; as an overdose of wild lettuce (Lactuca virosa) can cause death by heart paralysis (stopping the heart).
Warning: keep wild lettuce (Lactuca virosa) out of reach of children.
The common (garden) variety of lettuce (Lactuca sativa) is a safe alternative as this common lettuce (Lactuca sativa) is too mild to practically cause any harm in overdose.
Passionflower vines, and peach leaves were used by native medicine men and ladies in historical cultural contexts. They knew, understood and administered very exact, very careful, precision dosage amounts.
Warning: don't self medicate with the bark, leaves and flowers of fruit vines or trees. In this web site I'm not recommending the use of leaves, bark or flowers from fruit trees or fruit vines.
Danger: only use the leaves, flowers, and bark of fruit trees or fruit vines under very close healthcarer supervision at very precise and understood doses. Harmful overdose on the leaves, flowers, and bark of fruit trees or fruit vines is quite possible; they can be poisonous even in smaller concentrations. Passion fruits, and peach fruits are mild to eat - but their bark, flowers, and leaves can be toxically potent or terminal.
Potato (Solanum tuberosum) tubers contain lithium and a sedative called diazepam. Thus potatoes eaten can bring about restfulness. However, potatoes are too contraindicative to be medicinal for PTSD. Since diazepam also causes side effects such as fatigue, chills (reduced body temperature) exhaustion and CNS (central nervous system) depression. High concentrations of the aldehydes citral and neural occur in lime fruit (Citrus aurantifolia/latifolia). However, these alcohol phytochemicals in lime concentrations might reduce wits, cause dopiness and affect clarity of thought. Oats (Avena sativa) eaten cause temporary fatigue and contain Benzaldehyde which is an alcohol phytochemical. However, it might be possible to reduce the alcohol affect of oats by eating olives (Olea europaea var. europaea) and pineapple. Plums, apples, grapes, oranges (Citrus sinensis), cabbage, barley grain (Hordeum vulgare), and garlic cloves eaten might each be detoxifying foods/herb-foods. (Carrot, and small amounts of mashed seaweed eaten can treat radiation sickness). (Oceanwater, a detoxicant, can be sipped to treat heavy metal illnesses). Spelt eaten within approximately 24 hours of Allium plants (e.g. garlic) basically causes temporary fatigue. Spelt that is uncooked direct from the crop is preferable to any heating or cooking. Spelt breads that have been baked at common bread temperature and duration (e.g. 350oF/175oC for 30 minutes) are probably ineffective for Dawndaylight use. I don't recommend MSG (monosodium glutamate). MSG is also called hydrolysed vegetable protein, vegetable protein, hydrolysed plant protein, caseinate, yeast extract or natural flavouring. MSG is unnaturally overly concentrated. MSG might be neurotoxic. Avoid MSG. Some farmers of date palm fruit heat dates with steam or hot water before sale. Be aware that some date palm fruits are overheated to ripen them hastily for sale. (Macadamia nuts are not a Dawndaylight food) almost all hulled (hull-pared/without a hull) commercial macadamia nuts are overheated during processing. Fifty-per-cent to sixty-per-cent of the phytonutrients in plants (e.g. vasodilators, etc.)[17,18] are burnt off by cooking temperatures of at least 63oC (145.4oF) and any remaining phytonutrients are less effective. "Cold-pressed oil" is oil that has actually been heated (during processing) to temperatures as hot as 77oC (170.6oF). So 'cold-pressed oils' e.g. sunflower oil, sesame seed oil, almond oil, olive oil, etc. have been thermally denaturised of medicinal phytonutrients. As these have been smelted to inactivity (ineffect) by heat. Thus most 'cold-pressed oils' are not medicinal for PTSD. Hominids have been walking the earth for (at least) the past four million years. About 2,400,000 years ago the first stone tools were made. However, hominids only developed mastery of fire for cooking some 2,200,000 years after the first stone tools. So, it has been only during the past 200,000 years that most of mankind began to eat cooked food. Humans evolved eating uncooked food.[69,70] Cooking changes the co-evolved conformer (shape) of food molecules.[68,69,70,71,72] (As does the freezing of food, and the too lower temperature refrigeration of food). Cooked food particles in the blood stream are detected by the human immune response as (non-evolutionary) pathogens and so enfoamed (through leukocytosis) by macrophage cells.[70,71] This is particularly so of cooked saturated animal fat. Thus, cooked fats are hardened (solidified) in the blood stream by the immune system, how clogging (blocking) arteries.[71,73] A genesis of traumatic stress disorder is in arterial constriction and dilatation. To maintain optimal arterial health people who have PTSD should avoid eating any of the following :- (a) food that has been cooked: or (b) food that has been frozen: or (c) food that has been refrigerated at too low a temperature. Atherosclerosis (fatty calcified macrophagic plaque deposits upon the inside of arterial walls) can be removed (reversed) by the eating of grape (Vitis vinifera) seeds, raw cabbage (Brassica oleracea var. capitata) leaves[17,18,73], and cherry fruit (Prunus avium). As well effective are nasturtium vine nodes - eaten with - nasturtium vine internodes, nasturtium flowers, nasturtium stems, nasturtium leaves, carrot and silverbeet (Beta vulgaris Cicla Group). Arteriosclerosis (blood clots, thrombi, and deep-vein thrombosis) can be cured (healed) by eating raw garlic (Allium sativum) or a fruit salad of rhubarb (Rheum rhabarbarum/rhaponticum)[17,18,54,66], pineapple[17,18,66] and apples.[17,18,66] A meal of chives (Allium schoenoprasum/tuberosum) and onion bulb (being botanically similar to garlic) is also effective. All the Dawndaylight plants are best eaten fresh and unheated[68,72] - just as they are in nature - fruit, vegetables, and grain; direct from the crop. Avoid eating genetically engineered (technologically modified) plants e.g. GM Soybeans. Oft-while these foods have had their gene sequences so altered outside of evolutionary parameters that they could be toxic to humans. Dawndaylight was developed and designed for long-term, civil use in the support of people who continue to experience (PTSD) emotional anguish years after a trauma has far past. Dawndaylight was not designed to provide psychological calmness and coolness to any soldier battlefield requirement standard. Dawndaylight was not designed to comply (in accordance) with any cerebration armour (ceb's) specification. Dawndaylight will not prevent vasoconstriction to any battlefield requirement standard. Nor will it prevent sympathetic nervous system activation to any battlefield requirement standard. Dawndaylight will not activate parasympathetic homeostasis to any battlefield requirement standard. Dawndaylight cannot enhance physical survivability. Any physical survivability it may give, if any, would be non-significant. Dawndaylight was not designed to protect against environmental, operational or occupational dangers/stresses such as toxic hazards, communicable diseases, carcinogens, radiation, explosives, heat, acoustic energy, mechanical hazards, electrical hazards, etc.
